Manager Phone: 512-616-1100 ext. 111 mshubert@iBankTech.net
Mike Shubert
began his career in banking software
development in 1992 when he accepted a position with Dataworks, Inc.
in San Antonio, Texas. He,
along with one other developer, wrote an image based Proof of
Deposit system named Recall - Items. This UNIX based version was
installed in over 100 community banks and data centers around the
country. Mr. Shubert also played a key role performing installations
of the product in the early stages of its life cycle.
Due
to the success of Recall - Items and the flexibility of the system,
Dataworks expanded their marketing efforts internationally. In 1993
Mike was the sole developer and installer of Recall - Items at three
major banks in Taiwan
. All sites were
large multi-sorter institutions. The following year Mike developed
and installed Recall - Items at The Bank of Thailand in
Bangkok
. Upon completion, the
software ran 500,000 items per day using five high speed
reader/sorters (1800 dpm) at the country's central clearing bank.
The success of this project lead to several installs around
Bangkok
. Mr.
Shubert was involved in the development and installation at each
site.
As
Dataworks' success with Recall - Items grew, Mr. Shubert was in
charge of virtually all of the subsequent international
installations including Malaysia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, India, Pakistan,
Nigeria, and Romania. All of these countries had special
requirements for processing, reporting, and interfacing. Mike worked
with representatives from each country throughout the design and
development of their individual systems.
In
1995 Mike developed the Windows NT based version of Recall - Items
which was installed in community banks and data centers throughout
the U.S.
In 1997 Dataworks was acquired by NCR.
Initially, Mr. Shubert oversaw all international software and
eventually became the supervisor of all Proof of Deposit software
both international and domestic.
In 1999 Mr. Shubert joined Mr. Capel as a
principal in Guaranty Technology, later renamed Integrated Bank
Technology. Since that time Mr. Shubert has remained the Software
Operations Manger of Integrated Bank Technology
