Austin Business Journal, Monday, January 28, 2008 - 1:13 PM CST--

Cedar Park-based Integrated Bank Technology acquired a Chicago company to expand its banking software capabilities.

IBT purchased MICR Resource Management Inc., which provides data center services to more than 100 financial institutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IBT, founded in 1999, creates financial software for community banks and employs 20 in Cedar Park. The purchase brings the total number of workers close to 100.

MICR Resource Management founder Mike Golebiowski will become president of IBT and stay in Chicago. IBT CEO Mark Dittman will retain his title.

"Completing the acquisition at this time gives our customers a distinct advantage because they can maximize their budgets and choose the solutions that best fit with their business models and make adjustments as their needs change," Golebiowski says.
