Bank of Frankewing Deploys Integrated Bank Technology’s Check 21 Solution
--Community bank uses software application provider to complete successful data conversion and increase efficiency--

CEDAR PARK, Texas, Sept. 24, 2007 – Integrated Bank Technology, a company that provides software applications to help manage customer relationships at community financial institutions across the country, has announced the successful completion of data conversions and the installation of teller item capture for Southmiddle, Tenn.-based Bank of Frankewing.

Integrated Bank Technology’s flagship product is Integrated Bank Environment (IBE), a repository for not only a financial institution’s core system, but also all of the ancillary systems enabling everything to be tracked and managed from a single system. The software provider also offers a number of applications, including merchant capture, Integrated Fraud Detection and Integrated Image Teller.

Established in 1921, Bank of Frankewing currently has $190 million in assets. With 8,000 customers and three branch locations, Bank of Frankewing needed an advanced and reliable teller capture system that could handle the complete Check 21 process through the second day of processing. As a result, Fidelity National Information Systems introduced the bank to the Integrated Bank Technology teller capture solution.

One month prior to conversion, Integrated Bank Technology ran IBE parallel to Bank of Frankewing’s core system. This allowed time for the bank’s staff to become familiar with the new application and to ensure that there would not be any problems with the conversion. Afterwards, the Integrated Bank Technology team returned to fully deploy Integrated Image Teller and conduct additional training as needed.

Bank of Frankewing selected Integrated Bank Technology’s innovative teller capture product after determining that it would best fit their needs. Bank of Frankewing was using a traditional check imaging system prior to converting to the Fidelity core banking system. Three days before the conversion Integrated Bank Technology learned from the bank that the initial data conversion vendor had not yet completed the project. Integrated Bank Technology stepped in and converted the needed data overnight.

“We had heard so many horror stories about core system conversions, we were a bit apprehensive about the conversion,” David Barnes, president at Bank of Frankewing, said. “However, things went very smoothly. Integrated Bank Technology got everything converted and assigned someone at every branch to ensure that the Integrated Image Teller system was running properly and that all of the staff was trained. We were 100 percent operational within a week.”

Since converting to Integrated Bank Technology’s teller capture product, the bank has gained immediate access to teller transactions. Tellers can easily rebuild transactions to retrieve steps taken by someone else that previously managed the account in addition to having real time transactions for the product. The bank was searching for a product that would allow for real time transactions and to enhance the customer service at its three branches. After considering a number of solutions, the bank found Integrated Bank Technology’s product to be a perfect fit.

“So far, all of the responses that we’ve received from our customers and staff have been very positive,” Barnes added. “The team at Integrated Bank Technology is incredibly responsive and continue to make themselves available when needed. This new technology has definitely given Bank of Frankewing an advantage over our competitors.”

“It was a pleasure to work with the Bank of Frankewing,” said Mark Dittman, president at Integrated Bank Technology. “The confidence they placed in our ability to correct a previous conversion and get them up and running as quickly as possible is a true testament to the abilities of Integrated Bank Technology, its technology and its associates.”
