Integrated Bank Technology and
Canon U.S.A. Inc. Announce Alliance --Companies will
offer combination of innovative software and leading scanner
technology to mutual customers--
CEDAR PARK, Texas, Oct. 22, 2007 – Integrated Bank
Technology, a provider of a suite of data consolidation
technology-based products and services to community financial
institutions, announced that Canon U.S.A., Inc., has named
Integrated Bank Technology as one of its vendors in Canon’s Alliance
Marketing Program. The program will allow the two companies to
promote the innovative software of Integrated Bank Technology and
Canon’s leading scanner devices to all of their mutual customers.
Integrated
Bank Technology is the creator of Integrated
Bank Environment (IBE), a software application that serves
as a repository for a bank’s core and ancillary systems so that
everything can be managed from a single point. Within IBE, the company
offers Check21 solutions, such as Integrated Image Teller, merchant
capture, back office and branch capture. IBE writes natively to the
drivers in Canon’s CR line of check scanners, allowing a Check21
solution to be used and eliminating the added cost of middleware.
Users directly benefit from higher read rates, experience better
image quality control and take advantage of all of the scanner’s
capabilities, such as MICR to OCR comparison.
"We are pleased Integrated Bank Technology has
compatibility tested the CR-180, CR-55 and CR-25 scanners and to
have them as participants in Canon’s Alliance Marketing Program,”
said Mark Machida, director of the Image Filing Systems Division for
Canon U.S.A., “Our Canon Alliance Marketing Program Partners are a
critical component in helping us deliver end-to-end solutions to our
end-users. The Integrated Bank Environment together with Canon’s
check scanners bring the benefits of decentralized check image
processing to merchants, corporations and banks. These are
economical check scanners that combine high-quality image capture
with ease of use.”
Quitman, Texas-based Bank Texas is an existing
Integrated Bank Technology customer that recently began experiencing
the benefits of the new partnership. The bank is using branch
capture to eliminate courier costs and provide better service to its
customers.
“We were already using Integrated Bank Technology
for all of our imaging solutions and we’ve had such a successful
relationship that when we decided to search for a branch capture
product, IBE was the perfect choice,” Kay Newland, vice president at
Bank Texas, explained. “Prior to installation, there was a deadline
of when customers had to make their deposits to access the funds on
the same day. With the new software and scanners, funds are not only
available to our customers in a shorter amount of time, but all
deposits that are made before the branch closes are available that
day.”
“Integrated Bank Technology is very passionate about
not only delivering a reliable and user friendly product, but also
about finding other ways to improve the work environments of our
customers,” Mark Dittman, president of Integrated Bank Technology,
said. “We are pleased to partner with a leading technology provider
such as Canon U.S.A., Inc, and to use this relationship to continue
to surpass the expectations of our customers.”
